The staff, the setting, and the entire experience are everything you hope for from Irish links golf. Enniscrone is wild, beautiful, unpredictable, and completely unforgettable. It is the type of course that stays with you long after the scorecard has been buried somewhere in your travel bag, and the type of place that makes you start planning your return before you have even left the parking lot.

Lovely and relaxing vibe here. The course was very well maintained. The greens were exceptional. So smooth and exactly the right roll for what you’d expect. My putting felt healthy here. I played Scurmore so I only got a fleeting view of the sea. Still very beautiful.

From the moment we walk in the door the welcome was top class. The course was an experience. Pleasure to play and a challenging. Into restaurant afterwards and the food was again top class. As for the staff they were so friendly, professional and made our day after great memorable round golf. One of the best course in Ireland.

Amazing golf course, some great holes. Lovely fairways, even on wet days, but quite unforgiving roughs for high handicappers. Bring extra balls and you’ll love the round, while savouring the spectacular views from various tee boxes, over the estuary & seaside beaches.

Enniscrone welcomed us with classic Irish drizzle and strong coastal winds, but that only added to its raw charm. The course winds through dramatic dunes with breathtaking scenery all around. It’s a true links experience — challenging, wild, and unforgettable.

The scorecard quotes Shane Lowry stating….”Probably the best course in Ireland”. Shane is not wrong. To be honest the day itself had much to do with it, sunny and 16C with a light breeze, played alone with no one in front or behind with time to just soak it all in and focus. The mix of holes going into the dunes then back out, then in again is brilliant. The greens were immaculate. I was so impressed I blew off my round at Rosses Point the next day and returned for another crack at this gem. Once is not enough as there are some blind shots. Hats off to the staff who didn’t charge me a cancellation fee when my plans changed
